Your software worked great. my system is now clean. SAS, Adaware, spybot all missied it.

I have windows 2000 and spyerase worked just fine in cleaning my system. The pop up are gone.

Thank you so much, I used McAfee, a malware download from the Microsoft website, Spybot Search and Destroy, Norton THEY ALL MISSED IT! Spyerase is the ONLY one that got it. I know what I'll be using if this ever happens again. To all the jackasses that like to STEAL this kind and generous persons work, karma's a b!tch. Don't be jealous that you can't be as brilliant as Spyerase's ORIGINAL and ONLY creator.

Thanks for spyerase, I had constant problems with pop ups and changed homepage and your tool worked great, I now have my homepage set back to google and dont have any more annoying pop ups. Nice to see there's people around who write tools to remove all this junk

Your Spyerase works. I followed the advice posted and tried other including roguefix but it did not work. Superantispyware, adaware, spybot, counterspy,AVG did not stop the popups and redirect of antivermins. Spyerase fixed it. I have windows 2000. I trust you, i now know you are the real author. Sorry for all the trouble they are putting you through.

Never Ever believe what you read about people on the internet. For all of you who emailed me telling me not to trust pcbutts1 you can go to hell. I've wasted 4 days trying your solutions and posting HJT logs where you say to post them and nothing fixed it. I bite the bullet and tried spyerase, two minute later my system was clean and my destop and homepage were back. Two minutes not four days.Leave pcbutts1 alone and stop these lies about him.

It worked like a charm Thanks

Fast and sweet, no more Antivermins. You rock.

I used your Spyerase after trying others like spysweeper, Superantispyware, bug hunter, and spyware doctor. After more then 5 hours of scanning yours fixed it in about 5 minutes

Thanks

It does work on 2000 just like you said. Thank you

Sorry for all the trouble people are giving you. I learned the hard way. I listened to them and downloaded rogue fix. After doing that not only were the pop messages still there but my roxio did not work right. Rogue fix broke my system. After emailing you and installing spyerase not only did it remove Antivermins but it fixed roxio. You were right, I know you are the real author of spyerase. BTW I have windows 2000.

I had a really tricky trojan that a couple of people tried to help fix without success. Even went in to delete it manually from the registry which did not work. Ad-aware, AVG, Spybot, Windows Defender and Smitfraud removal, all failed. I was skeptical that anything short of reinstalling windows would work. I used spyerase and it took a total of 5 minutes from start to finish and when I restarted my computer, it was completely gone. Amazing!!! I would recommend this to anyone!

Hi again,

Spyerase has helped me out alot of times, Ive already posted feedback before after getting infected and it solved the problem and let me open my homepage without it showing my IP and promoting junk cleaners to buy,

I had to write again for a new password after my nephew downloaded some codec things as it started again and I was getting constant popups, thanks very much for helping me out again and your program removed all the trojans that was causing it, Ive since scanned with avg and superantispy but all they find are cookies so it looks like its as good as new again.

Im sure Im be writing again at sometime to get the latest version because knowing me I will get problems again, Thats what I get for having young children in the house playing online and downloading everything they see :)

Thanks for all your help and for always replying to me so fast when I write, its very kind of you

Thanks

PC, how can you do this? I just read on the HelpDesk link on your blog that you have sold Spyerase!?

I am very disappointed with you. You said that you care about people and that is reason that you give away your software.

Now I see that basically we have all been beta testers for you to perfect your stuff, so you can sell it.

All of us that supported you, I am sure, are upset about this. The least you could have done was be honest and post what was going on here.

I can't believe I spent so much time defending you...Telling people the same B.S. you kept telling us.

I hope you sleep well tonight knowing that all of us who stuck our necks out for you are effectively getting it cut off...

I guess it shows what kind of person you are and what kind of people we are, to believe you.

Thank you soooooo much for getting rid of "Ultimate Defender"!!! I originally was looking for a replacement for Norton and got on the web to find information. I saw the Ultimate Defender advertisement and stupidly went to the site. Norton couldn't remove the constant irritation of Ultimate Defender/Cleaner, etc so I bought NOD32. It didn't work either. Then you came to my rescue. I wasn't even sure it was working it executed so fast. But the BIG RED desktop wall paper is gone along with the icons and constant annoyance. Thank you again. I really don't understand why the Ultimate people are not in jail or haven't been sued.

I have Windows XP and was having a very difficult time trying to solve a problem with my google search links taking me to YGOTOP.COM, YATOPMASH.COM and KONOSEARCH.COM.as well as www.poiskmash.info and others. I emailed PCbutts and he sent me the set up for his program. I ran it but it never helped my problem. I emailed Mr PCbutts back and he promptly sent me a script that logs all my running process on my PC and created a text file of it. He asked me to send it to him, which I did. A short time later he sent me a reg fix with instructions on how to execute it, which included turning off system restore.. etc. Long Story Short, he fixed my problem. He spent most of Sunday Afternoon emailing me and helping me solve this issue. I am extremely impressed with him and Removeit software. There are very few people out there that would take the time to help out a total stranger. Especially one that did not pay for a software program. It is difficult to find this kind of service for software that you do pay for.. So, my hats off to you Mr PCbutt.. You are one of the true professionals out there and I would NOT hesitate to purchase any product that you offered.

Morning,

So a well meaning friend sent me a warning about a false invoicing scam that contained the privacyremover.m64 trojan. I followed the instructions on various so called "free" sites. Well the scan was free, but I was consistently invited to pay for the software that would actually remove the threats. I rummaged around your website and managed to convince myself it was genuine and free, so took a leap.

And I am glad that I did. My machine appears to be clean (from my entirely amateur "Oh my God!! How the hell am I gonna get any work done today!!!" point of view). So thank you very much for providing this assistance.

I would have posted it directly to the blog, but couldn't figure out how. Told you I was amateur.

Hello J

Just want to say thanks for sharing fixie. Had a major meltdown after a defrag. IE crashed every time I tried to enter sites where it was going to use java and it was always showing the welcome site after a first time installation. Fixie had some permission problems (don’t know what it tired to do there), but IE seems to work properly at the moment.

The shutdown was a bit dramatic thou, had to cancel it with shutdown /a. Had a couple of open unsaved documents there that I had to deal with first.

Hello,

Just wanted to say a quick thank you for your Remove-It application. I was having major issues with my PC that none of my AVs could seem to pick up on, but after running Remove-It and rebooting, everything is working fine again. I do have a question though: why does Remove-It come as a batch file? Wouldn't it be more efficient and worthwhile to combine the functionality of the various VBS scripts and executables into a single "Remove-It.exe"? Just wanted to know your reasons here.

Thank you for making such a great program,

Anonymous said...

Hi,

I'd like to thank you. Although I'm running on Windows XP x64, your programs weren't fully capable of helping my OS, but since some of the shells for the 64 bit were the same for 32 bit, it did help some like my explorer had issues with properly showing icons which booted up with my computer such as utorrent, pg2 or aim. I'm not quite sure why explorer decided to mess up, but it was kind of annoying since I'm too lazy to spend an hour to throw in the windows disc just to repair explorer. I found your site because my friend had a virus drop on his computer and his explorers been crashing since, and while your program didn't help in the end (probably the virus is still there or there's other corrupted files since avg and avast couldnt find anything), it's still good to see there's programs out there that are trying to pick up the M$ slack lol. It's kind of funny that M$ uses linux for their servers LOL. Anyhow, I was wondering if you were thinking about creating x64 versions to your programs since 64-bit is becoming the future and 32-bit is slowly getting phased out, your programs would make a great addition to my collection of fix-er-roo's. Good luck and thanks!

I have system restore, defragment, check disk issues which I think due the Malwares, Virues. I installed your Remove-it software and ran, however, the problems are still unsolve and I now have another problem is can't get on so many Websites, even McAfee, and all the ads inside Yahoo, Earthlink don't show either using Internet Explore or Firefox. The was a restore checkpoint prior running the Remove-it but it does not work as mentioning above. Please advice me how to restore back the setting before Remote-it was run. Thanks

pcbutts1 said...

Warren why do you think your system is infected? To restore you hosts file donload and run this file http://pcbutts1.com/downloads/hostsback.zip If Remove-it created a restore point before you ran it then just do a system restore. Post more info on what problems you are having so I can help you fix them.

THANK YOU very much for the RemoveIt program.

I contracted the 'Total Secure 2009' virus/bug and none of my AV software detected or removed it. Like a few others who have posted, I looked around and found a lot of phony 'fixes' to that program.

I also found a post you had written on a microsoft help board and 'took a leap' that if you're posting there, your fix was probably legit.

It was and it worked. Remove-it.txt indicates that it removed sysguard.exe from my system.. That didn't show up in any search or scan.

Well, I could go on, but I can now get back to work. Thanks again PCButts1 :)

am not the only user at my pc,and theres a possibility one of the other users downloads a virus by accident.
Anyways now that i know how to start my pc in safe mode, would you recomend me to redo it again or leave as is.
Also i been working with one of the microsoft specialist in regards of my updates not working, some issues had been resolved ( i was
not able to run the express option to update windows),now i can get to the part to where i can select to download SP3 but it does not open it cancels out and stops, the expert who has been helping me sent me a link so i could manually install this package in safe mode.I did this and ran it,so i figured since i had install this package i could now start updating my windows, well i still have the same problem, once i accept the download,it will say FAIL and none of this fixes become available to my pc.Do you have any recomendations that i can use to resolve this conflict I am having,if you do will you please reply to me as soon as i is possible for you so i can have my windows workin at 100%,once again I am very HAPPY that REMOVE-IT help my pc removed this annoying

After battling for literally months with a freezing Desktop I used your Windows Explorer shell fix and Desktop Reset tool and Voila!! All the problems disappeared like mist before the sun. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making those little jewels available as a labour of love.
