Good news for Spyerase

Spyerase has been sold. A major Software company has took interest and have bought The Spyerase technology. I will attempt to explain what is going on. First let me say that spyerase is just a small tool that is used to target only certain types of spyware. It is derived from a larger program of mine that is used by the government dept that I work for to detect and remove spyware from government computers. Spyerase itself is just a batch file that is used to remove known spyware files, that is why it works so fast.

People(trolls) have criticized spyerase saying that it is prone to false positives and they could not understand why spyerase was so successful. The technology that is used to determine which files are bad is what I sold. What this does is scan your system and it determines what is spyware, the name and location of the files. Those files are then tested again to make sure it is not a false positive. I take this list and use simple dos commands to remove the offending files. it is a special kind of "Search" engine. This technology is expandable and configurable. That is what was sold. I am in no way giving up on you guys, my friends in the newsgroups. I will continue to provide free malware removal tools but the name Spyerase will not be used. I still own the copyright for the technology and I will be contracted to the new company. When it is released I will already have another tool ready and waiting for you all to use. So Dan T you have nothing to worry about. I do appreciate every ones support in my fight against the trolls and the great feedback. I am still here and always will be.

Hi PC!

How are you? I have been busy, but I wanted to say thanks for the explanation on Spyerase.

Just wanted to ask, who did you sell it to?
